Pure As Snow....

It's summer down here in Oz right now - and the hot and humid weather is perfect for swimming at the beach. But even though I love the summertime - for some reason my thoughts are turning to winter and the snow. Maybe it's because Christmas is just around the corner and there's nothing that I love more than a white Christmas. This pic reminds me of all that is lovely about the winter season - can't you just see yourself rugged up around the brazier?

If you had been in the Snowy Mountains or even the Blue mountains last week you would have got your wish Shannon...the weather has been truly weird lately. That brazier does look inviting.

My husband arrived in Kent in England last week to visit his mum in hospital and when he woke up the next day he saw snowflakes! It dissipated though as very early there for snow...some winters Kent does not get any snow at all. No brazier for him but non stop central heating though as he has not experienced an English winter in almost twenty years !!

Chilly, but lovely.

I love white! But I also love color. Do you think it's o.k. to have one "white" room in a colorful house?
