Hi Shannon, My friend Jenny has recently put me onto your blog and I must say I was a fan of yours before (owning both books) but am even more of a fan after looking at all of the beautiful work you do on your blog! I too am a massive fan of peonies and currently have 4 old jam jars full of them on my dining table. They are just gorgeous and there is something so beautifully old fashioned about them, that I cant wait for peony season every year. If only I had the magic touch to grow them in my garden!! Enjoy your weekend,
Hi Shannon - they are beautiful , you must be getting so proud of your garden. I am the same and picked some roses the other day to take a few photos and ended up taking so many i made a whole album of them!! I am not sure if this link will work but heres a peep..http://picasaweb.google.com.au/MelsRoseGarden/Roses5Nov2008?authkey=HiV1ElY0LkM#Heres to happy days and lots of flowers- Mel xxx
Beautiful Shannon! I had to hold myself back from buying bunches of them at the Central Markets last night, the joys of saving for a new kitchen.... Maybe I need to print this image off and stick it on the fridge to get the best of both worlds - saving every cent for my kitchen and having pretty flowers in my home! Not quite the same though... x
I'm glad you all like them. They are a bit of treat for me too because I rarely buy flowers these days. But as we were doing a photo shoot up at the house, I thought that I'd make an exception - wanting to show off it's best side and all! I'm just in floral heaven right now!
