Pretty Collections

Oh, I do love girly things - packaged in pink with tassels and frills. Particularly when those girly things are grouped together to form lovely displays. These collections (from designer Fleur Woods' home) give some wonderful ideas as to how to group things together effectively. Scale and balance is the key,to your collections, looking like they belong together. Think of your pieces in terms of 'steps' - start small and then add bits that gradually step up in size. A central colour scheme always helps in making sure your displays look cohesive - pink and reds, in this case, seem to be the dominant hues. How lovely...

I am a big collector of all things beautiful and feminine whether it be paintings of women, lovely purses, or my collection of roses in my garden.
These are wonderful images that prove that it's great to share a space with the things that we love.

Hi Cathy Louise,
I'm really looking forward to heading up your way and checking out your beautiful cottage - it looks so divine from the pics and I'm sure will be just as beautiful in real life.
See you then

I always love Fleur Wood's style. I collect icons as well and so she inspires me with her religious bits and bots. What issue of Marie Claire was this one in, Shannon? Recent or past?
