I felt so chuffed yesterday being able to give this gift to a friend - the lovely fresh eggs came direct from my 'girls' and the parsley from the garden. I just had to take a pic to share with you!
Wow what a lovely gift! This gives me so many ideas for my soon to be planted herb garden. Perhaps a bunch of coriander together with a home made thai curry paste?
This brings back many lovely memories of when I was a child gathering the eggs from my Grandfather's girls. I can still remember the warmth of those large, brown eggs. Nothing tastes as good! Not to mention the bread that they used to bake in the small Tasmanian town he was from. Well done, girls!
