As you know, I am rather partial to chateaus of the French persuasion. Sadly, having never actually stayed in one, I spend my time vicariously peeping into chateau's right across the French countryside through the pages of magazines such as Cote Sud. I particularly like this chateau - a contemporary take on the classic French interior which I thought I'd share with you. I hope you like...

Oh okay, if you insist, sure I'll take one.
Love the grass patch under the tree.
It's like a conciliatory nod to nature.
It's a little bit like an animal in a cage at a zoo.
Funny how the contemporary chateau lacks the lusciousness that the classic kind offers - all the way to the grassy patch!
