On the Inside...

It seems so mean of me to post a pic of the exterior of our little rental cottage without giving a glimpse into what's going on inside. Well, here's a very sneak peek into one of the rooms - the kitchen of course - a run down but awfully cute eat in kitchen with an adorable walk in pantry up the little steps. This, of course, is a pic of the kitchen's 'best side' - taken by Prue Ruscoe for my book sense of style: space. The other side is, well how do I say it, in need of a face-lift! Notice the divine Jasper Conran for Wedgewood plates that I mounted (with detachable hooks as it was a rental!) on the wall. Don't they just add a divine sense of sunny-ness to the space? These plates play a starring role in my new kitchen which will be revealed right here very soon -  I promise. Sx

This is a great sneak peek! I love the weathered, but antiqued look of this breakfast area. I came across your post this afternoon while browsing interior design blogs and the topic of window treatment selection was very interesting to me. It is true that you must dress your windows appropriately to bring out their true beauty. Thank you for writing and as a special thanks to you and your readers, I would like to offer a 20% off coupon using this code upon checkout: BLG20.

Hi Shannon have been a huge fan of yours since first seeing you on the show home...have all your books and soon realised that you live in the beautiful white farmhouse in Bangalow. Now I have just discovered your blog...all I can say is wow! You have inspired me to
fulfill my dream in interior design as you said it's up to
us to make the most of our lives, so true!
