Snoopin Around...

Well, I've been snoopin' around again on realestate.com.au - not that I'm the market for a new home or anything - just because I love checking out other people's houses! And this one - situated on the cliffs overlooking Sydney's Whale Beach - is a beauty...

Um, wow! I knew that Whale Beach was a special spot, but with homes like this in the area this definitely confirms it!

Oooh i am so going to have to check that out. my old stomping ground! I used to work at the travel agency at Avalon and i remember one of my colleagues (older woman) had a huge house right on Whale Beach. Well she and her husband put it up for sale (this would have been around '97) for $250,000 and my friend and i said to each other "as if they will get that much for it"!!! Oh dear how times and real estate has changed! My husbands grandparents also built a huge house on Whale Beach and sold it many years ago, i wish they would have kept it in the family! Right off for a snoop myself...i just love those panelled walls! Mel xxx

I do the same! But I do find that a lot of the houses' interiors are very generic I guess because they have to streamline everything and hide everything for the photos so you don't get a feel for the house the way it is lived in. But this house has some nice old furniture!
