Well, I've been snoopin' around again on r
ealestate.com.au - not that I'm the market for a new home or anything - just because I love checking out other people's houses! And this one - situated on the cliffs overlooking Sydney's Whale Beach - is a beauty...

Indeed it is. What an incredible view!
Um, wow! I knew that Whale Beach was a special spot, but with homes like this in the area this definitely confirms it!
Oooh i am so going to have to check that out. my old stomping ground! I used to work at the travel agency at Avalon and i remember one of my colleagues (older woman) had a huge house right on Whale Beach. Well she and her husband put it up for sale (this would have been around '97) for $250,000 and my friend and i said to each other "as if they will get that much for it"!!! Oh dear how times and real estate has changed! My husbands grandparents also built a huge house on Whale Beach and sold it many years ago, i wish they would have kept it in the family! Right off for a snoop myself...i just love those panelled walls! Mel xxx
I couldnt find the listing but have clicked and enlarged your pictures...i would have to say that this would have to be pretty darn close to my dream home! Mel xx
Thanks for the link Shannon...just read a big typo there that would be 1987!! lol!
Yes, that is pornography for us folk who live in terraces. x
I want to be invited to that dinner party in the last photo!!!! LOVE it.......
Love it - also love that I'm not the only one who uses realestate.com to sticky beak :)
oh my... absolutely gorgeous.... with breathtaking views. In my dreams. LOVELY!
I do the same! But I do find that a lot of the houses' interiors are very generic I guess because they have to streamline everything and hide everything for the photos so you don't get a feel for the house the way it is lived in. But this house has some nice old furniture!
In my next life, I'll live here!
Me too!
