I'm completely in love with Coorabella, an old Queenslander living a new life in the Byron Bay Hinterland. Owned by Giovanni D'Ercole, the bold and creative man behind Love and Hatred jewellery, Coorabella is a wonderful example of how mixing styles (classic Australian country with rich and gothic overtones) can make for a space that is unique to all the rest. Here's just a couple of pics of this beautiful home - I hope they tickle your fancy...

Gosh that place is stunning! Very livable (I dig how you can see the TV in the background...)
wow, what a crazy looking interior. Very creative.
I'm glad you both like this one. I've been here a couple of times as we were going to use it as a location for a Lifestyle Channel story - but we couldn't for some reason - can't remember why. But I just love the decor. So original

This magnificent home used to stand on the Tweed River and is the former family home of my husband, built from local timbers hand picked by his ancestors.
