My Book!

I've always believed that you can tell a lot about a person by the way; or the style in which they decorate their home. More than any other aspect of creative expression, in your home you can express your individuality with little fear of reprise. At home,  you can create of yourself, for yourself - it is the place where you are free to be you in the truest sense. In this way, decorating is more than just making your house look good - it's actually an opportunity to create a home that supports you from the inside out.
We all deserve to have a home that makes us feel this way.
Sometimes, it is a lack of confidence that prevents us from doing this. This is the reason that I wrote sense of style: colour + space - to give you the decorating tools you need to build your creative self-confidence. If you're interested in purchasing a copy of sense of style: colour + space you can do so here. Enjoy...

Over the last few years I have come home from visiting friends and wondered why my house couldn't be like theirs - lots of clean lines, and cool minimalism. Yesterday I sat on my couch and looked around my home and decided I love it. I love that the bookshelves are overflowing, that our band posters are framed but never actually made it on to the wall and are stacked in corners, that my kids collections of Autumn leaves, shells, etc are filling up my vases. It's a home full of the things we love - and 'it supports me from the inside out'. Off to buy your book in the morning with my Mother's Day voucher!! Thanks for the validation and the inspiration.
