Gardenias At The Workshop...

It's all go go go here at the cottage today what with us preparing for the inaugural Just Colour Workshop to be held tomorrow...
To pretty things up a little, I've snipped some gardenias from our garden (which is fully flourishing right now) and popped them into a vase... I love them, not only are they beautiful to look at, but they fill the studio with the most gorgeous scent...

I have planted a gardenia plant by my front door
and I'm impatiently waiting for it to flower.

I too love their scent.

This makes me smile - standing in the school playground before the bell this morning, gardenia scent wafted along on the breeze, lost count of how many children were bringing in little bunches [for teachers].

Lovely to see your beautiful gardenias Shannon. As much a I love our Adelaide Hills garden & all the fab cold climate rhodies & camelias, I long for gardenias. However they loathe the freezing weather, & the 2 great big healthy plants we brought up from the City turned up their dainty toes & went to flower Heaven their first Winter here.
