A Late Night Cheer Up...

It hasn't been the best of days today I have to say - having spent it at the funeral of my very young and gorgeous cousin who succumbed to cancer after a very courageous battle. On days like today, I turn to colour and the beauty of nature to brighten my spirits. A spell in the garden really does wonders to remind you never to take life for granted. Rest now, rest now NG x

Oh Shannon - I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin. It is so easy to take life for granted, isn't it. Give your family a hug, as will I.

I'm sorry you've had a sad day Shannon. I'm sure your cousin is at peace now. Life is far too short for some. But they will be remembered always.

I hope the time between the heartache of your loss and the joy of returning to your memories of her is short.

Feeling sad for you Shannon. Death is a *%&&#@#( of a thing that takes too many too early. After losing someone I loved immensely last year, I know where you are at. Give your heart time to deal with it before your head has too. Take care )-:

I recently lost a loved one and I found that colors got brighter when someone goes...strange I know. But there is something about death that has helped me notice smaller nuances of color and beauty...before I may have rushed past and missed it.
I am sorry for your loss Shannon.
