Remembering Past Lives....

Odd isn't it - those days when your thoughts head back to a past life and your heart begins to reminisce! Well, today is one of those days.... I've been thinking about our old house and all of the good times that we shared there together - and so I decided to hunt down some photo's to share with you. These pics were taken by my good friend Prue Ruscoe for Inside Out magazine a few years ago of our little fisherman's cottage in Camp Cove in Sydney. We owned the house for 10 years - we renovated there, had the kids there, celebrated birthdays, christenings, good times and a few teary times too. Amazing how a house can become a part of your life, in the same way that a person can. I loved that house.... oh well!

Hi all,
Yes, I am so lucky to have these pics as a reminder of where we've been.... My good friend, photographer Prue Ruscoe has given me such a gift in taking such lovely pictures - a snapshot into our lives. I did love that house so much - and I think about it like I would think of a long lost friend - with a sense of emotion and yearning of a life past. I feel so blessed to have shared my life with such a beautiful house. And I also feel blessed to have been able to let it go and move onto another chapter in my life. As they say, its all about the journey.

My 'third child' Isobel is a spoodle - a cocker spaniel/poodle cross - I think in the US they are called a Cockapoo? Is that right? Isobel is crossed with a mini poodle so she's smaller than some of the Spoodle breeds. She is absolutely adorable - although a little nutty at times! She spends her days up here on the farm, rounding up the cattle, chasing away the snakes and guarding us for dear life! Did I mention rolling in cow dung? Yes, she is a little nutty - but that's what we love about her.
