It is a a gift to receive the opportunity of a new year and it will be wonderful to learn how we each unwrap and treasure them.
Thank you also for this image of the Eiffel Tower, I'm currently reading 'Eiffel's Tower' which is all about this amazing structure, the man who created it and the Word Fair in which it was the centre piece. This view shows the duality between it's enormity and delicacy and celebrates the creative genius required to envision and bring to life such a wonder.

Dear Shannon, thank you so much for your post. I woke up this morning to find it number one on my blog-roll. yesterday was the 1st here in NZ and I was was thinking about all the things i want to do this year, and how to go about writing them. We are looking forward to 2011 also as this is the year of travel for us.
You are so right about seeing the world through childrens eyes , my 8 year old is into art (which I never was) & now I can see the colours & forms all around as she describes them to me , we have trips to art galleries together , I even did a painting art class recently on a trip to Hamilton Island & came home with my first real painting ever.
