Do you remember these little goodies that I found in a local antiques shop a few years ago? They were such a find - and soooo reasonably priced that I simply had to take them home despite their floral nature! Well, I did promise to show you how I intended to transform them - and this is the result - of two armchairs at least... I simply love these No Chintz fabrics called Alone in The Paddy Fields and the Ticking in Aqua - they are such greeny/bluey loveliness that never fails to brighten my day. Would you believe that I still have covered the 2-seater settee (good things do take time!) however, finally I think I've find the perfect fabric for it. Hopefully it wont take me another two years to get it going!

It looks amazing, love the fabric!
Just beautiful. The green is gorgeous and the stripes add such a lovely modern touch.
That's my Mother's sofa! Wonderful to know that it looks so good reupholstered! well done....
just looking at your 2011 workshops, wish you could do an e-corse version, they all sounds fab.
They look great - I have just checked out the No Chintz Website at the fabrics. As I am keen to cover a sofa in a ticking style fabric as well. Lovely fabrics - shame we live in Malaysia where we don't have such nice fabrics available! Also any advice on covering a lampshade - does this need to go to an upholsterer as well??
Gorgeous outcome Shannon... Loving a good stripe of two! Hope you are having a perfect weekend! Kellie xx
...bold and fun stripes!
I adore stripes, Shannon. The colors are so bright and fresh, looking perfectly pretty! Off to read some of your past posts...
Have a lovely evening and a great new week ahead.
Off to make another XXL cup of morning tea ;)

Dear Shannon,
Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. I am glad you are taking part in my giveway!
Love the pictures you posted today. The floral fabric on the chairs looks very much like the fabric my mother has on her couch. Beautiful!
Happy new week!
Lieve groet, Madelief
