It's Sooo Hot....

It's just sooo hot up here at the farm that I'm literally melting away! Beads of sweat are rolling down my forehead and I'm dreaming of a swim at the beach. Which will have to wait - because, well, there's work to be done...
However, such heat has brought up the issue (again...) of a pool! How is it possible, I say (to my hubby, family and friends - or whomever will listen!!!) to live up here on a farm, surrounded by cattle and dirt and not a pool in which to cool off! Of course, hubby's reply is to raise one eyebrow and say - 'the beach is just down the road, why on earth would you want a pool?' However, I will not give up! Hubby are you listening? Pool, pool, pool -say it with me gals!
And so, I've employed the art of visualization to bring me one step closer to the goal at hand - and as such, today's post is of cool, blue swimming pools... Wish me luck....
Ommmm....

Are you sure we are not married to the same man? He sounds to much alike mine.

Oh no, you definitely need a pool! Sometimes you just need a refreshing dip without all the ruckus of packing up and heading to the beach. And I can just imagine how beautiful and twinkling blue oasis would look amongst all those rolling green hills. Sigh. So jealous!

Good luck!

The third pool is my favorite, but really, they are all lovely.

Your place is beautiful but I have always thought it has been missing something. I know a pool !

It's just getting colder here in the U.S. so I am loving your blog! I was just talking with my hubby the other day about what it would be like to live by the beach and told him I'd want to have a pool too. He thought it sounded crazy. They just don't get it, do they???

I, too, have been using the 'art of visualisation' method, the subliminal messages method and the bribery method - I thought I was getting somewhere last summer but alas, no pool. I will have to ramp up my campaign, maybe get the children to join in too! And after spending a glorious weekend in your area this past weekend (to celebrate turning the big 40!), I agree that no farm is complete without a pool!!
