Well, here it is..... dadadadum! My new home. A few posts ago I introduced you to my new love - a turn of the century farmhouse in country New South Wales, Australia. From the outside, it was love at first sight - a beautiful timber homestead with a majestic roof line and views of lush green pastures. But step inside and the decor is looking a little tired! What do you think of the aqua swirl carpet and bathroom tiles? The trick to a successful renovation is to maintain the balance between the essence of what you love about the house when you first laid eyes on it and then what you can do to make the house support how you need to live in an emotional and practical sense.
