Pretty In Pink...

What is the perfect shade of pink? Soft and pretty? Loud and feisty? Or perhaps tinged with a little watermelon? A touch of salmon perhaps (oh dear, reminds me of the 80s grey and salmon colour palette fave which could be making it's way back into fashion??) Perhaps you like your pink more coral than salmon? Being a fire sign (read: rather feisty at times!) I do like my pink to come with a little fire... A notice me pink... One that says, 'I'm here/Look NOW'.... Sadly, as much as I love a hot pink, it does not like me. Living with it is a no, no - I can't eat, sleep or think straight around it... So, this luscious shade of pink and I must have our affair from a distance... Perhaps the perfect kind? That way, I'll never tire of it...

Haha, yes the 80's - my hen's night was a "pink party". I can't believe I did that.
I was wondering when pink would make a comeback - I think you may be right.

Pink is a great color and looks smashing on that truck. Who wouldn't rush up to it to see what they might have to sell if you saw that motoring down a street?

Love pink, esp. Hot, bright-as-you-can-get pink!

Hi Shannon, love the shots. I agree, I'm not a hot pink person either. Funny, I just posted a similar thought on my blog regarding my "To Dye For" children's singlets. I don't have girls, and I tried lots of different pinks but they still mostly wanted hot pink! Personally, I'm more a watermelon or musky pink as I like the way that that coloured pink can actually feel natural. Great post. Swing by if you have tiny second... http://flotsamfriends.blogspot.com/2010/07/to-dye-for-monday.html

Goodness that little truck is just gorgeous! It reminds me of a baby caravan we used to have as a cubby house as children... until my parents gave it to our babysitter! If I thought it was little as a child I can only imagine how small it would have been for an adult... just as cute as this truck though!

I'm a pink girl through and through (much to my husbands dismay and distress!). I'm with you on the hot, fucshia pink though... best admired from a safe distance.

My sister is the pink girl, not me but I do like it with a tinge of watermelon.

I'm a big fan of pink, whether it's pale or a hot one, which people call fuchsia these days :). The bus is so cute!
