A White Out...

White, white, white... It's fresh, uplifting and pure. The ideal backdrop upon which to layer a multitude of other tones. However, I admit that there are times when I wonder whether the relationship that I'm having with white is getting a little dull. A little lacklustre. A tad boring? Safe? Dare I say, old fashioned!!! I mean, white and I have been best buddies for as long as I can remember - maybe it's time for a little shake up? But then, I see pics like these gorgeous ones (from Country Living) and my heart skips a beat and I'm in love again. Ah white, you're my best buddy! And I love you so.....

Love this place. My favourite - white canvas with subtle colour. The headboard in that bedroom and the bathroom? The exact tiles on the floor and basin I want. just delicious! x

White is the new black...always! Although saying that and despite being a huge fan - have just pushed the boundaries and bought 4 new donna covers for country house - 2 white - 2 silver. Have lost sleep over silver - but will stick by it and see how we go. Gawd knows what i was thinking - white rules. But sometimes white is just too white for the gay boyfriends who come stay - silver s a good compromise? Or is it?! Aaaaaaargh!!!!!!

The white out, with the blue floor is nice and unique...like that. More practical, too!

I have that conversation with myself from time to time...too much white, old fashioned, time for a change etc... and I always come back to the way white makes me feel.

I always admire people who can work with color and for a moment, consider it myself, but in the end, some shade of white is my comfort zone. thank goodness for accessories!
have a marvelous week,

I am also in love with white, it's such a pure and very contemporary color. It's also my best buddy that's why I created a white Swedish style vintage kitchen in my new apartment, maybe you will also like it: http://myblackbook.free.fr/?p=5351
Have a great day!
