Ribbons Glorious Ribbons...

I'm very excited about my new Martha Stewart ribbon dispenser, that I picked up at Spotlight in Logan on the weekend. Isn't it just glorious! I'm not sure if it's age(!) or simply a newfound distaste for mess - but this kind of nifty organizational tool really rocks my socks off!

I hear you. The older I get the more obsessed I am becoming with organization. Nothing makes me happier than to have everything in its proper place (not that I always achieve this). This ribbon dispenser is perfection!

I don't really have too many ribbons hanging around to mess up my life, but I can see your pleasure. My guilty organisational tool pleasures are much more basic: a cup for my pens and colourful soft tubs for laundry (one for each member of the house so they can put away their OWN washing).

I completely agree, the older I get the more organised I have become. If everything is in its place then I can focus on the important things. Love the ribbon dispenser!

Sharnel - I'm very happy to report that the answer is YES... A gorgeous range too - of ribbons, decorations and general crafting bits and bobs! Yay!

Shannon you've just made my day.... or maybe even year! How exciting. I've wanted one of those ribbon dispensers forever. First thing tomorrow you know where you will find me.
Thanks for being the bearer of good news!

That was my question -does Spotlight stock Martha Stewart? Can't believe there hasn't been any advertising about it. I will be there tomorrow! Thanks for the tip.

I popped into spotlight yesterday -though sadly it was right on closing time: I saw the Martha Range in the distance and my heart ached- LOL. Exquisite! The desire to "stow-away" and look at all those beautiful things was real. Love the ribbon dispenser. No prizes for guessing where I'm heading to today.
I love your blog shannon - somehow I can't imagine you are ever surrounded by mess

What a thing of beauty. I want one too. Right now my ribbons are stuffed in a drawer... it could be time to set them free LOL!xx

It's a great-looking ribbon dispenser, but especially enjoy seeing how you styled it, with the items above. I didn't have the discipline to put my ribbons on any sort of dowel. I just threw them all into a large glass hurricane. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/17390271@N02/3581124354/in/set-72157618908700951/)

I totally get the excitement, I have rolls of ribbons in boxes that keep unravelling and creating a huge mess, looks like I will slipping out to spot light tomorrow xx

Thanks to your post Shannon I sped off to Spotlight after school drop-off during the week. There they all were, all the Martha goodness!!! Just beautiful so my new ribbon box has tidied up my area somewhat and even launched me into a pre-Spring (much needed) cleanup of my office area.

I am writing to you this morning from outside Maleny, my morning has begun with toast, a lovely espresso and your book 'Space'....what a lovely way to start my Sunday. I do really feel the same way you do about leaving behind city life and heading for the hills.

Happy days!
