Those Great Danes...

Well, I'm just so excited to see that my book, sense of style: colour + space has been translated into Danish and has finally hit the shelves - and with me on the cover no less! Now I just need to brush up on my Danish language skills so that I can read what it says!

Isn't that mind blowing, seeing your book in another country, in another language. Have you been mobbed in the street yet?!!! Your time with your hubby sounded so perfect! Enjoy! A-M xx

Congratulations on your book discovery. The cover looks really good - so light and airy - very fitting for the Danish market I would imagine. Your joy at seeing your book in Danish reminds me of that episode of 'Sex and the City', when Carrie excitedly stumbles upon her book in a little Paris bookstore, written purely in French! Wishing you have a magical and memorable adventure. Ezabelle

Just received my copy of Sense of Style today. Great fun to get something from Australia. The book is gorgeous, and I love that it doesn't have a book jacket (which tends to get destroyed with time). I'm so excited to get to it this evening after the children have gone to sleep! Cheers. xoxo

Hi Shannon, Sense of Style is a fantastic book. I was wondering if you could let me know if it is an amalgamation of your two other books (and the same content) or if they stand alone (in which case I will definately be purchasing both).
Thank you
AM

Thanks everybody for your lovely comments. It is very exciting when you see the work that you do be accepted by others.
Just to confirm AM that sense of style: colour + space (the hardcover) is a compilation of my other two books - so don't go buying them all otherwise you'll be reading the same stuff!
Hope you enjoy.

As Anon who posted April 14th, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your book, Sense of Style. I was not able to pace myself through it as I had hoped. I gobbled it up in just two days!

I've finally given pause to decorating my home and am asking some of the hard questions you pose in the book. I've realized that what I really need in our house is a calm place to recharge. Our three children provide all of the energy a home needs!

So I'm over color for the sake of it. As a relatively new blogger, the images that speak to me are the ones that aren't stylized in any way. They are the spare and functional spaces that really breathe. Long live taupe!

Cheers, and thank you. Your book is wonderful. It rests on my night stand atop the rest. xoxo, Renee
