All we lost was a roof or two from some out sheds - the old-girl (the house!) survived with no damage - a salute to old-fashioned building practices, I'd say! The kids were over the moon for the four day weekend - so all is well.
sxShannon Frickehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01059513098546237493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7922504383442123900.post-12556919054337814402009-05-25T21:02:19.431+10:002009-05-25T21:02:19.431+10:00Stacey,

Other than that - a console table with vase and decorative details - mirror or collection of artworks for the wall - possibly a chair to sit next to the console- and voila - a lovely entrance hall to greet you every day.Shannon Frickehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01059513098546237493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7922504383442123900.post-15432099197355712412009-05-25T14:26:19.144+10:002009-05-25T14:26:19.144+10:00Hi Shannon,

I think your lovely home may be somewhere in that vicinity, and I hope that it has not been affected at all by the terrible floods. As we finished up our holiday, we made it down the Pacific Highway with an hour to spare before it was closed, water lapping at the sides. Back to Canberra where we have had no rain at all!Barb Fisher - Hopscotchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16704380029044781507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7922504383442123900.post-73850454904588235122009-05-25T11:55:23.067+10:002009-05-25T11:55:23.067+10:00You can almost see a Monet painting in those flowe...You can almost see a Monet painting in those flowers!beachvintage.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16075401950286198394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7922504383442123900.post-73000551893993748082009-05-24T17:40:27.425+10:002009-05-24T17:40:27.425+10:00Hi Shannon,

I've started my first home renovation and stumbled across your book which has been a source of inspiration and decorating-confidence! I'm stuck for ideas for my awkard L-shaped entryway. It's around 3.5m and 1m wide with a door on the right and then the corridor turns left. I'm thinking of staining the floorboards v dark brown and painting the walls white, but not sure what to do after that. Maybe an entry table, floating shelves and picture frames? Maybe a mirror and large vase? Any ideas? I'd share some photos but not sure how...
Thanks!
Staceysingasonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11317166055196611127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7922504383442123900.post-58765201895366453182009-05-24T17:06:14.014+10:002009-05-24T17:06:14.014+10:00Total heaven Shannon, xv.Total heaven Shannon, xv.vicki archerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07847183975086900816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7922504383442123900.post-91387511683839456772009-05-24T16:40:44.542+10:002009-05-24T16:40:44.542+10:00Oh beautiful!Oh beautiful!Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17518861172552573388noreply@blogger.com
